May has seen two more local authorities completing their onboarding phases and going live with Hospital to Home. It is always motivating to see more local authorities realising the benefits of H2H.
We have now kicked off our Extension into Intermediate Care project. We are currently undertaking discovery work with our subject matter experts before a kick-off workshop later this month.

Exciting Developments in Progress and Kicking off Soon
Work is continuing on interoperability – there is exciting work currently taking place with North Lincs and Goole Hospital Trust. We are developing that integration to FHIR standards, a real positive for H2H utilising the most advanced API standards in the world of Health.
We are developing a bulk upload option for organisations to upload discharges into H2H. This is will be of benefit to all of our users and will act as a sensible early phase for those organisations ultimately seeking interoperability with electronic patient records.
This month we started the planning and initial analysis on our Intermediate Care project. As we speak to more and more Local Authorities and Adult Social Care teams the Intermediate Care requirement is one which is continually raised. This much needed extension of the H2H functionality will be a key development in 2022 and we look forward to working with our existing users on shaping this work.

Alongside the big projects we are incrementally releasing smaller improvements to the system from our backlog. These requirements are a mix of existing requirements, new requirements and back end system requirements.

The Next H2H Workshop
Continuing with the theme of Intermediate Care from the previous section, our next workshop will focus specifically on this topic. The session is taking place on Wednesday 15th June.
The workshop is open to anyone working in the Intermediate Care space and the agenda for the session is:
10:30 – 10:40 – Welcome and Intros
10:40 – 11:00 – D2A Review; What we have learnt from others
11:00 – 11:45 – Group Discussion: Understanding Intermediate Care
11:45 – 12:00 – Summary and Wrap-up of Session and ways to stay in touch
We are looking forward to learning more about this critical area of care and the importance of IC in keeping people out of hospital. The workshop will also provide another opportunity for colleagues from around the country to connect, share and learn from each other, something which is consistently appreciated by attendees.

iNetwork Awards 2021!
We had a great evening at the iNetwork Awards event. Unfortunately we were not successful in winning an award but it was fantastic to see Hospital to Home showcased by both CC2i and North Lincs.
We were up against stiff competition on both categories and fell to worthy winners.
There was however some good news for CC2i at the end of the evening. The video created by Jane Hancer was the standout video of the evening and brought the the house down. It was rightly awarded most creative video, proving the force was certainly with CC2i when pulling it together!
